These are great-owls burrows..what are pocket gopher ans why do they block the burrows?
ReplyDeletePocket gophers are rodents that dig and live in the ground. So, they like to plug up these burrows a lot because they are in their way, and they don't like it. The owls actually eat these pocket gophers too.
