We set out for the Redwoods on this day after packing up all of my stuff and loading it into the car. I said my good-byes to everyone in Bandon, and we were on our way. It was lunch time by the time we reached Langlois, so I took my mom to get a famously awesome hotdog from the Langlois market for lunch. We talked about those hotdogs for the rest of the trip. Yes, they are THAT good. Plus, they make their own mustard, which is delicious! I'm telling you, if you are ever in that area, do not pass up their hotdogs. I also took my mom to my observation spot for the entire summer and showed her around Bandon.
We went to the Redwoods, and enjoyed the awesomeness that is the Redwoods. I took my mom to the Trees of Mystery in Klamath, California like I did Daniel. It's a nice way to see the Redwoods with a guided tour, and it's Paul Bunyan themed as you might remember. So fun! We ended up staying in Coos Bay, OR, that night. Enjoy the pics!
What a beautiful day to show my mom where I worked all summer!
We stopped at Misty Meadows to get some jam, and I found this flavor......hmm...I think I will steer clear of this one. LOL
This statue is made completely out of beach trash. Cool, huh?
Picture of the Langlois Market sign and parking lot.
Good ol' Paul Bunyan
This carving reminds me of Wolfman.
Mom with the Elephant Tree.
I somehow missed this carving on my first trip here, but thought it was funny I saw it with my mom with me.
