Low Tide

So last Tuesday and Wednesday were the lowest tides of the year at Coquille Point. So low in fact that you could walk all the way out to Table Rock. This is what it normally looks like...

So after my repro plot shift, I had some time before my predator watch started, and so I decided to walk out there....Why not? Here are some pics from my short tide pool walk. This is what it looks like at the lowest tide...

These beaches have driftwood all over the place...everywhere you go, there's driftwood. People actually make art out of it.
