Surprise care package!

I had the hardest time getting up for work this morning. It's possibly because I had caffeine yesterday after 5 p.m. because I drove home from Newport, and it kept me up till almost 11. Yeah, 5 am came fast. Anywho...it was a slightly rough morning, it just poured on me...made it unbelievably hard to do my repro plots. So, when I got back to the bunkhouse after my shift, I was welcomed with a wonderful surprise. I had a package from my dad with a single coffee maker, filters, and chocolate wafers. Heck yes! These coffee makers are awesome...so easy peasy. I would never make a whole pot of coffee because I only drink 1-2 cups a day, and only drink coffee in the morning. So, this is perfect! Thanks Dad, you rock! Then, I look over on the counter, and there was a bag with a note on top...The note read: Thanks Cherry, -Manny and Star. So, I can't remember if I had a chance to tell you guys because I forgot when I blogged last and didn't look before I started this one, but I took care of Clint's dogs, Manny and Star the other day. They are both around 12 years old. Star is a black lab, and Manny is a black um...mutt of some kind. Anyways, they were great for me. Even let me walk them on the loop without leashes. They never left my side. Clint was so amazed they did that. It was fun for me because I got some puppy love. Anyways, inside the bag was a big round loaf of sourdough bread from a bakery in San Francisco....super chewy sourdough...the best kind! I love bread! If only we could survive off of bread without the consequences. :-)

I have more blog updates to come for you guys, and lots of pics. It was a busy week, and I have lots to share, but for now....enjoy these...

nevermind the crazy hair...just got back from a rainy rainy morning.
Feeling extra loved today! :-)
