Hello all! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating lately. It was a hectic, crazy, busy last week or so. And, I didn't have internet long enough for the majority of the past week. I am now in Bandon, and have wireless internet at my bunkhouse. I'm finally settled, and am training for my new job this week. I'm gonna be one busy girl, but I'm really excited about that. I like to be busy, and I like to work. I also like to sleep though. LOL. Anyways, I am off to bed, my days are going to be EARLY from now on. Like start work at 530 am early. Yuckadoo...but I can get used to anything after a while. Well, except for people who chew loudly. ;-)
I promise to update you and bring everyone up to speed probably tomorrow night with my last days in Hermiston, and then introduce you to Bandon. For now, here is a lovely pic or two from my last night in Hermiston.
Happy holding the Great-Horned Owl's feet while we take a blood sample
Me and my boss at the last burrow of the my last night. Kay took this picture...wow is all I can say...the colors are beautiful! And I gotta say, I don't hate my profile...lol
The Great-Horned Owl juvenile we caught...he/she was a beaut!
OK, I have to say this: owls look irate . It's like they are both appalled and pissed off at the same time. :I cannot on earth believe you are taking a blood sample from my foot. That, my friend is wrong, morally wrong. You will die a humiliating death for doing this to me! My word!
ReplyDeleteThat Great Hornoed Owl is looking like he wants to say this:
ReplyDelete"You disgust me. You just totally disgust me."
